Cell
Phones for Soldiers (CPFS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides
cost-free communication services to active duty military
members and veterans. The organization was founded in 2004 by Robbie
and Brittany Bergquist, then 12 and 13 years old, with only $21. CPFS
relies on generous donors for cash contributions and funds raised by the
recycling of used cell phones.

Drop Off Locations
“Every single material, whether it's from a
computer, a TV, or microwave gets recycled. Each commodity is sold on the
market. Instead of sitting in a landfill for eternity, they'll be put to new
use, made into decks and fences, glass products, and building materials. In the
future, profits will go to charity. Right now, the bulk of the revenue pays off
the (franchise) debt and salaries for the RecycleTronics' employees, all of whom
are disabled veterans.” (KTIV, April 2010)
Dates for e-waste:
Ute: Monday April 8 at the Town and Country
