Shop Local for the Holiday's!

     Downtown lighting ceremony:  Santa will arrive in town at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1st to turn on the Christmas lights and kick off the Holiday season. Santa will stop in between Taylor & Company and Stangel Pharmacy to talk to the kids and turn the lights on.  Santa will be available at the Onawa Fire Department after the ceremony to visit with the kids and get their wish lists.  The West Monona FFA Chapter will be serving soup and sandwiches at the Fire Department afterwards.


     On Saturday, December 3, 2022 we will have a craft day for all kids at the Onawa Public Library from 10:00 a.m. - noon.  Kids will enjoy making crafts and decorating cookies.  ALL KIDS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.  

Shop Local for the Holiday's and win Chamber Holiday Bucks!
     The Chamber will be giving away Chamber Bucks again this year for the Holiday’s.  While you are out shopping locally, write your name and phone number on the back of your receipt or the drawing slips available and put it in the box at the businesses. If you would like a box in your businesses, please let Jenn Collison know at 712-423-1801 or e-mail chamber@onawa.com for a box to be dropped off.  The drawing will start on Friday, November 26th and end Friday, December 16th.  Be sure to enter and have a chance to win some of the $400 in Holiday Bucks!  The winners will be announced on Friday, December 16th at Chamber Coffee at the Onawa Public Library 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
